See jmu.edu/stewardship/research.shtml to locate JMU faculty members from many disciplines who are conducting research that leads toward solutions that support social well-being, economic prosperity and ecological health. ◆ Seek an internship that promotes environmental quality and sustainable community. ◆ Set an example through everyday choices and talk with others about becoming more effective environmental stewards. The Institute for Stewardship of the Natural World coordinates the collaborative efforts of the university to promote cultural change for environmental stewardship and sustainability and a broader sense of citizenship.
