After paying your deposit, check your email to activate your eID, set up Duo and a new password! To access your steps, you will need your JMU eID and password. Your eID is your electronic identification used to access MyMadison, Canvas and other services. It is usually the first six characters of your last name, followed by your first and middle initials. For instance, Dolley Payne Madison would be
madisodp. If Internet access is not available, contact your local public library or area college/university. Such facilities may have computers available for community members.
