Student Success Center 1075 Receive your materials to prepare for your day before heading to refreshments and University Welcome. Use this time to connect your phone to the JMU-Official-Wireless network by using your eID and password. 8:40 – 9:15 a.m. University Welcome Grafton-Stovall Theatre Campus administrators and faculty will officially welcome you to the JMU community by offering a special message to prepare you for your JMU learning experience. The Union Here’s your chance to meet other transfer students, get questions answered and talk with your Transfer Orientation Peer Adviser. Find your group number on your folder label. 10:15 – 11 a.m. Academic Success Union Ballroom Learn more about expectations, General Education, transfer credits and ways to succeed academically. 11:05 – 11:50 a.m. Lunch D-Hall Have your meal voucher ready for lunch! Noon – 12:30 p.m. Student Services Video Grafton-Stovall Theatre 9:25 – 10:10 a.m. Peer Discussion This informative video will feature information from Residence Life, Off-Campus Life, Financial Aid, the University Business Office, Dining Services, Information Technology and banking on campus. 12:40 – 1:30 p.m. Resource Fair Student Success Center Full of information from a variety of campus departments, this fair will provide you with the details you need to navigate your way at JMU. 1:45 – 5 p.m. Academic Advising Check your folder label Meet with your academic advisor to review campus resources, talk through opportunities within your major and learn what to expect during your first semester. Check your folder label for your advising location. Student Success Center 1075 Now that you’ve finalized your fall class enrollment, there are just two more things to wrap up your day. Complete your program evaluation in Student Success Center 1075 and then pick up your newly minted JACard afterwards. 2:30 – 5:30 p.m. Wrap Up the Day

Head to CommonWealth One on the second floor of The Union from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Browse the JMU Bookstore. Visit the JMU Bookstore from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Get financial aid information. Visit Financial Aid on the 5th floor of the Student Success Center from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Check out UREC. See what our campus recreation center has to offer from 1 – 6 p.m. Take a campus tour. Finish the day with a stroll around campus and tour a showroom in one of our residence halls. Tours will depart from the Student Success Center Atrium at 3:30 and 4:30 p.m. Questions about housing?
