University Health Center (UHC) UHC is a confidential acute care clinic and is located on campus in the Student Success Center. You can select whether you would like the UHC to share infor- mation from each visit. As you prepare, confirm that your current insurance will cover you while at JMU for specialists or emergency care. A Medical Power of
Attorney is not needed. As you transition to self-managed health care, start now by managing any oral medications that you currently take. Consider getting a 90-day supply of any oral medications or using a mail order option. You can also check out the on-campus pharmacy or locate the closest local pharmacy for prescription refills or your over- the-counter needs.
