Moving day helpful tips ◆ Move-in dates for most first-year students will be Friday, Aug. 15 and Saturday, Aug. 16. ◆ Use the driving directions provided. ◆ Have your ID ready to get your keys at your assigned hall. ◆ Bring just the essentials including seasonal items only needed for the current season when moving in. ◆ Bring a dolly, handcart or wagon from home as availability of carts varies per building. ◆ Label all your belongings with your name, hall and room number. ◆ Plan ahead by shipping trunks and large boxes with your name, residence hall and room number and

Once you move in to your residence hall , you will: ◆ Meet your First yeaR Orientation Guide (FROG) and Resident Adviser. ◆ Attend and actively participate in mandatory pro- grams. ◆ Meet with your academic advisor to prepare for the start of classes. ◆ Engage with your peers to start making connections. ◆ Explore opportunities to get involved. After move-in, students are expected to be on campus and participate in Weeks of Welcome starting the eve- ning of their move-in day.

Inter- national students have unique needs and the ISSS team offers several sessions and assistance specifically designed to address your questions and concerns. We discourage bringing trailer attachments or rental moving trucks to campus, as our ability to accommodate parking is extremely limited.
