Community Service-Learning Gain global experience by getting involved in the Harri- sonburg, regional or international community through CS-L. Students describe it as some of the most profound experiences of their college careers. Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity and Expression SOGIE works toward promoting JMU’s commitment to diversity through education, support, advocacy and the fostering of equity for all students, inclusive of all sexual

orientation or gender identity and expression. This includes awareness and educational programs, student outreach, the Lavender Lounge, a resource library and self-expression closet.
