The University Business Office is where you’ll find everything you need to know about tuition and fees, room and board, payment options, due dates, etc. Statement and payment information Madison Money Manager gives you and your family access to your student account. Access M3 through MyMadison and set your family up as authorized users. They will then be able to view your statements and activity. You, and all your authorized users, will receive an email when a statement is ready to view and pay. Follow the directions within this step to set up your Authorized Users. The new authorized user will receive directions via email to complete enrollment and start getting statement notifications. Set up your authorized users in M3 before the step deadline to ensure notification of the semes- ter statement. Any changes to the account between billing statements are reflected in M3 in the Current Balance and the Account Details. Payment options Charges not covered by financial aid or the installment payment plan are due in full by the statement due date. Pay your charges through M3, by mail or in person at the cashier counter. You can pay through M3 with a free electronic check or a credit card. There is a service charge when using a credit card for payment. Installment payment plan To pay your education expenses monthly, use the payment plan offered through M3. The payment plan is available for a small enrollment fee. Enrollment for the upcoming year begins in June and ends on the semester due date. This payment option allows the payment of tuition, meal plan and on-campus room charges in monthly installments. The account is considered paid when the budget is enough

to cover the semester balance. Contact the UBO for help determining a budget. Scholarships Mail outside scholarship information to UBO for processing. Include your full name, Social Security Number or student ID number for proper identification.

Refunds Grants, loans and scholarships are credited to your account in the order that JMU receives them. Refunds are gener- ated automatically for financial aid overpayments and upon request for personal overpayments. BankMobile processes all JMU refunds. After Spring- board, you can access BankMobile through the My Refunds link in MyMadison. Parent PLUS loan refunds are mailed to the parent unless otherwise noted on the loan application.

Prepare for JMtrUth As a member of the JMU community, we expect you to be knowledgeable of the policies guiding student behavior. JMtrUth is a program at Springboard discussing alcohol, drugs, sexual misconduct, and Title IX sexual harassment policies with OPAs. Watch the video modules before the due date.
